This is really fun man lol. Love the aesthetic and also how it feeds into the main mechanic of the game. I'd essentially corner myself to ensure all the enemies targetted one position and then warp to the other side to get a few shots in, and that felt insanely satisfying. Love that while there isn't much enemy variety, they spawn a nice variety of bullet hell patterns which always keep you on your toes. Also love the subtle indicators like the little bar for the dash and how simple your health bar looks lol.

SPOILERS :

I managed to get till a few rounds in and unlocked the double gun. I have only two qualms though. Unless I missed it, enemies do not really have a noticeable indicator for whether they took damage or not. The second qualm also kinda ties into the first, which is that I wasn't entirely sure what the range of my weapons were.

And while not exactly a qualm cus it would probably be solved if I just played the game more, but I wasn't entirely sure what some of the upgrades did.

Other than that though, amazing and fun AF game

Super glad to hear you liked the game!!! Thinking back on it, I definitely should have put some sort of indicator for the range. I'll see what I can do later today. As for the enemies - there is a hurt animation, but it might be too quick, so I'll see if I can fix that.


As for the upgrades, I'll make a section on the itch page right now! And for the enemies!

The game is great either way lol. I played some more and noticed the hurt animation of enemies. Also noticed that shooting them automatically makes them shoot as well. Lot of depth here which I didn't notice before lol

Realizing now I should have put that enemies shoot at you when you shoot at them in the description lmao
